Diversified Plant Services, L.C. Receives Major Industry Award

Diversified Plant Services, L.C. has been named "Accredited
Quality Contractor" by The Associated Builders and Contractors for
its demonstrated commitment to excellence in four areas of corporate
responsibility: safety, training, employee benefits, and community
relations. The award was presented during the September 28, 1995 joint
ABC/Contractors' Safety Council General Membership Meeting at Riverside
Country Club. Diversified Plant Services joins an elite group of construction firms from across the country that have been similarly honored since the program's inception in July of 1993. The AQC program represents a major effort by ABC to document and publicize all the good that contractors contribute to not only the economy but to their communities as well. In presenting the awards, the association's chapter president, Mark Monical, praised Diversified Plant Services for their outstanding record of commitment to the safety and welfare of its employees and for their involvement within the community. To qualify for AQC status, a contractor must document his company's activities in the four major areas to a review committee at the ABC national office in Washington, D.C. |
